After eight (E I G H T !!) months that we’ve been in Moorea, today we’ll try to pull our anchor up. After spending the last days on repairs again (windvane, main sail, cutter stay, dinghy, etc.) we finally are ready to go for a little ‘vacation’ and say good bye ro our island for a few days.
As mentioned in the last posting: The SY Ninita arrived a few days ago. During the following days, two more swedish yachts arrived in the anchorage so we find ourselves in the midst of a skandinavian invasion ! So it’s only natural to flee to a safe island… (Joking, of course. Our swedish friends will all follow to Huahine.)
So, today in the afternoon we’re gone. We should arrive in Huahine tomorrow in the morning, spend a few days there and then go on to Raiatea where we want to say hello to the SY Gobo and the SY Yasoo. Sometime next week we plan to be back here in Moorea.
Oh, I’m so happy to finally go sailing again !!

Toll das es nun wieder losgeht! Mir gefällt das ihr nach dem Drama nicht aufgegeben habt und frage mich ob wir das auch so hinbekommen würden.
Einholen werden wir euch wohl kaum aber es ist immer wieder nett, euch zu lesen!
